Ampurdan chefs create menu of Dalí artworks
April 29, 2013 Leave your thoughtsFour chefs from the Ampurdan have converted some of Salvador Dalí’s works into culinary form to compliment the retrospective of the surrealist’s work at the Centro Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, which runs until the beginning of September.
The dinner menu is available at the Hotel Westin Palace where the chefs have concocted a number of seasonal dishes that represent some of the artist’s best known works. The dishes are said to include humorous elements, while being based on Catalan cuisine.
Good food, or simply good publicity for the hotel’s restaurant? Personally I suspect the latter.
